boarding school- A place where students can live and study

Steps - steps leading up or down stairs
Terrace - a flat area outside a building, often with a stone floor, or a narrow, flat strip of land on the slope of a hill that is used for growing crops

In class, I learned how to change nouns to adjectives and adverbs by adding suffixes.
The simplest way, and the best general rule, to turn a noun into an adjective is to add suffixes to the end of the root word. The most common suffixes used to create adjectives are -ly, -able, -al, -ous, -ary, -ful, -ic, -ish, -less, -like, and -y.

Other noun-to-adjective suffixes can include -ial, and -ical.

Once again, I learned so much that was useful and new to me. Her talk was inspiring and motivating. After seeing the video "Your body language may shape who you are" by Amy Cuddy (social psychologist, author, and writer, public speaker). I reflected on my movements at events that are important to me and my everyday life. How I present myself in front of an audience when presenting something, or meeting people I like, and even how my body responds to stressful situations.

First, Amy's purpose and goal are clear. Amy Cuddy's research on body language shows that we can change other people's perceptions and perhaps even our body chemistry by simply changing our body posture.

Second, "Power Pose" standing in a confident pose even when we don't feel confident can increase our confidence and affect our chances of success. Also from this video, we learn Amy's tragic story of a car accident and the consequences affecting her. Further, she says that she later felt like an "imposter" among her groupmates because of her physical and mental trauma. Amy's support and encouragement came from her advisor - Susan, who convinced her of the phrase fake it `til you become it. Which later motivated Amy Cuddy to move only forward.

In conclusion, Amy Cuddy has reached great achievements in her career, and already working at Harvard University and being a public speaker is motivating and revealing the truths of nonverbal behavior. A direct quote from her speech
