A: The person told me that the head frame was small, hair was covering over one of the eyes. Adjusting the sizes and camera made the design look better.

I tested my floating cat lens with family members. Some thought it was cute. However the people I talked to don't usually use lens so they didn't know how it works. Nevertheless I got a smile from people I tested on. A suggestion was to get this lens to work on pets as well. Since I only tested on family members, they might have been reluctant to be honest in their criticism because they don't want to hurt my feelings. This might have biased the results. I'd love to test on strangers and see what they would say! I published my lens and I wonder if people would actually find it fun to try.

I was making this for my brothers fiance to try out, she is a big fan of the haunted mansion at disneyland and really likes the growing room. I tested this out with her ( she was camera shy).

What was it like receiving feedback from your user? She was really receptive to the lens initially ,however it was a little hard for her to easily use this lens since my scale for the face source input was warped, this became much more apparent as we tested it out more and more.
What did you learn by receiving feedback from your user? My starting image could have used a more precise cut out of the intended recipients face it should have been a 1X1 ratio. The scaling I did to make the face fit into the oval frame just resulted in a fun house mirror effect, and kept the experience from being easy for the user to operate (since they were too busy trying to get their face to not look distorted).

Feedback from my friend was that their head should fit the entire bubble. I had to change the scale of the face to fit the dimensions of the bubble. I learned that the placement of the face in an environment needs to make sense in order for it to feel immersive.

1. Showing my Lens off was really fun! Watching my friends play with something I made was cool. The two people I asked for feedback from agreed that the concept was really funny and they loved the colors. They both wanted the toilet to be able to flush so you could watch your face swirl down.

2. I learned that users want something interactive, plugging a face into a hole isn't enough to keep users engaged.

- I enjoyed sharing what I made with others and got some fun ideas of what could be added to improve this. Feedback can be hard to take sometimes but the end goal is the users enjoyment.
What did you learn by receiving feedback from your user?
- I learned that it's good to brainstorm with others to make the idea you have even better. When I first showed my lens to others, I learned that the placement of the face and size of the hole was a little awkward to work with and showed too much of the background. They also gave be some fun feedback in terms of what I could add like audio.

The feedback I received was regarding improvements on the background. My friends felt like the background didn't go too well with the watermelon. Through this feedback, I learned I need to make sure the backgrounds of my visuals need to match the vibe of the visual itself.

So far this filter has been the most challenging to create and was a very steep learning curve. It was very interesting sharing the filter with my friends, they were all impressed with what I made and gave really interesting feedback on how I could make the filter more interactive and other features they would love to see.

Receiving feedback from my user is something I always look forward to because it tells me how I did and what I can do to improve. For this tutorial, I had a lot of fun creating face insets, and my user was impressed how she was able to turn her face slightly in any direction, yet her face insets remained flat on the screen.
I learned that receiving feedback is a very crucial part to any iteration process. My user had a lot of laughs playing around with this lens, and suggested that I try out other png files and play around with face insets there.

It was really helpful to hear feedback from actual users. I was able to identify whether or not the users were able to exhibit the emotion that I was trying to deliver and made adjustments based on their feedback. I kept encountering a bug which would make the face inset in the scene editor appear super tiny and not really allow me to move it around well. I was eventually able to bypass it but not full fix it. It was also nice getting feedback from an actual user as it provided insight different from mine.

This tutorial was fun to do! I ran into a couple issues with trying to frame the picture and set it in a position that would match with the user. Getting feedback from my friends was helpful because it showed me how much they enjoyed the face-in-picture template. Their reaction made me see how fun this template can be for others(as well as for me) From this feedback, I learned what parts people enjoy most, which will help me make even better lenses next time.

Receiving feedback was great it showed me what other people really wanted and what they wanted to see, as for the start I followed the template, yet through critique from my family they said to do a funny animal so i went with a snail.

It took me many hours to create this lens. But it is much fun getting to know i could change the face. I was not able to put my face in it, though as when i saved to my computer, it wont show my saved picture. I am ready to learn from Ramon and get the hang of creating my own lens and how other users can use thier own face in my lens. Thank you for the opportunity so far.
