In Australia it grew in popularity after the release of the film Blackboard Jungle in 1955 that sported Rock around the clock by Bill Haley and His Comets as its sound track. It used Simple, repetitive and rebellious lyrics sung by musicians who dressed differently (Hairstyle and clothing) accompanied by unconventional dance moves that was criticised as being crude and sexually suggestive by the conservative.Parents were apprehensive of the rising popularity of this genre, especially with the arrival of Elvis Presley, His signature moves on the stage was not approved by all but that girls and boys of Australia did not heed this as was evident in the reception he received when he toured Australia in 1956. So scandalous was his moves to some Australians during that time that on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1956, Elvis was recorded from the waist up during his performance.

Johnny O’Keefe is an Australian Rock & Roll singerwho became famous during the 1950s after his opening act for the tour of Bill Haley and His Comets.

Heavy Rock- Began in 1960s, usually has aggressive vocal, low bass sounds, drums, distorted electrics guitar and keyboards.Origins came from rock artists trying to add the feelings of harder sounds and louder vocals from the blues to show the feelings of anger. It became quite famous and well liked by people who were previously fans of blues and rocks. It also appeals to male, especially white male (Hence the name 🤬 rock) because how the genre is dominated by male artists.

Numan and (I think) Ali: The Jazz Age was a period in the 1920s and 1930s in which jazz music and dance styles rapidly gained nationwide popularity in the United States. Throughout the 1920s, jazz music evolved into an integral part of American popular culture. The "primitive" jazz sound that had originated in New Orleans diversified, and thus appealed to people from every echelon of society. Fashion in the 1920s was another way in which jazz music influenced popular culture. Jazz influenced these fashion trends, along with many more. Jazz and Women's Liberation: During the 1920s, jazz music provided the motivation and opportunity for many women to reach beyond the traditional sex role designated to them by society. Frank Sinatra, Louis Daniel Armstrong, Duke Ellington and Miles Davis were some famous artists.
