The story takes place in Nikkis house, where Nikki faces trying to keep a secret from her bandmates/her bestest friends.

The secret is a trip to Paris. Nikki cant tell her friends because her producer said it might not happen.

Throughout the story, Nikki tries to keep the secret but is having a hard time. Along the way, Nikki has Mackenzie making this entire situation worse.

In the end Nikki ends up going to Paris with her bandmates. Although she had some crazy stories there and she had a hard time learning French, she had a blast with her bandmates exploring Paris and it's wonders.

I think this book was interesting because there was always something going on. I would recommend this book to others because this book is silly, adventurous, and interesting. This book had a lot of plots and was super fun.

The story takes place in New Jersey, where Jacqueline also known as Jacky faces hardships in school once her Nana dies. She is the class clown always landing in detention.

Throughout the story, Jacky climbs the ferris wheel at midnight and then makes a vow to never land in detention again. Along the way she meets Bill Phillips her crush/ future husband. Her best friend Meredith also helps her stay on the good side. In the end, a wonderful teacher helps JAcky find her path to success. Her mom comes back from war and her dad explains the whole Jenny Cornwall thing plus her sister comes back from college!

I think this book was wonderful because it was so hard to set it down. Whenever I stopped reading I was always left on a cliffhanger. I would definitely recommend this book to others because the plot twists that revealed shocking information.

The story takes place in West Virginia, Where Marty faces hardships at home because Judd starts drinking and Marty thinks he'll kill his dog.

Throughout the Story, Marty decides to stay away from Judd until everything is okay. On the way he meets Doctor Murphy Who helps him by giving him friendly advice when Marty tells him about Judd. Along the way you meet Doctor Collins who helps Marty on his paper and helps Marty answer some questions about Judd's Dogs.

I thought this book was interesting because it's about a boy and his dog going through hardships and how they conquer them. I would recommend this book to others because I think that my friend would like it because its full of action, friendships, and a good ending.

Throughout the story, a few of the demigods split up and go on a quest to rescue the Athena Parthenos and get it back to Camp Half-Blood. The main quest involves the rest of the demigods fighting the giants along their demigod children. They defeat the giants and Zeus slaps the demigods halfway across the world to Camp Half-Blood where Gaea has woken from a nose bleed. They fight Gaea and win, but at a steep cost. The cost was Leo Valdez.

Seven travel aboard the Argo II to the Acropolis in Athens, Greece, to try to stop the ceremony to wake Gaea and overthrow the Olympians. These seven are Piper, Percy, and Annabeth, who are Greek, and Frank, Hazel, and Jason, who are Roman (though Jason is does not know which camp he belongs in). The second quest, led by Roman praetor Reyna—accompanied by Nico and Coach Hedge—is to deliver the Athena Partenos statue to Camp Half-Blood as a peace offering from the Romans to the Greeks. In Reyna’s absence, Octavian, the Roman augur at Camp Jupiter, seizes power and plans to attack Camp Half-Blood. They must make it back in time to save Camp Half-Blood and heal the rift between the Greeks and the Romans. They arrive in Ithaca to gather information about the obstacles ahead. There, spirits, monsters, and mortals allied with Gaea overrun the palace of Odysseus. Jason confronts his mother, who abandoned him and has become a mania, and wards her off but is injured. Reyna tearfully admits that she accidentally killed her father one night after he attacked Hylla. Nico insists that Reyna is innocent, since her father was already a wraith, but the Romans consider fratricide a grave crime; if they knew what she’d done, they’d execute her. As she makes her confession, Roman legionnaire Bryce Lawrence appears, arresting her. Bryce’s cruelty enrages Nico, and he destroys him, unsettling Reyna and Hedge. Exhausted after killing Bryce, Nico falls into a shadow coma for three days, almost becoming a ghost. He’s surprised that Reyna and Hedge nurse him to health, thinking his actions must have repulsed them, but they reiterate that he’s their friend. Nico can’t survive another jump, however, and Hedge has arranged for winged horses to transport them and the statue back to Camp Half-Blood. Nico connects with Greek demigod Will to conduct the sabotage operations, but Octavian catches them. As he orders the Roman forces to attack, Reyna flies in with the statue and urges the Greeks and Romans to join forces to fight Gaea, who is now awake and rising from the earth. The two quests converge during the war at Camp Half-Blood as the demigods on the Argo II arrive and join the fight. Leo flies his bronze dragon Festus, whom he has restored, into battle. The dragon grabs Gaea, lifting her off the earth, the source of her strength, and Piper charmspeaks Gaea back to sleep. As Leo sends Jason and Piper away so that he can vaporize Gaea without harming them, Octavian fires his onager, unaware that his robes are tangled in the trigger, and is launched into the sky in a fireball that collides with Festus. Gaea has been destroyed, but so has Leo. The Roman and Greek camps mourn together as they fought together. The demigods blame themselves for Leo taking on the dangerous plan. Leo programmed Festus to inject him with the physician’s cure. Leo finds his way back to Ogygia, and he and Calypso ride Festus away from the island.

I noticed that Rick Riordan emphasized the mood of the story by making the readers feel good after a triumphant win in a battle, only to realize the Earth Mother already woke. That was on page 453.

I think this book was action packed and overly tense and suspenseful because it was the last book in the Heroes of Olympus series and it all came down to this. I would most definitely recommend this book to others because it is so action packed and it came down to the wire with an unreal ending.

The story takes place in the Archipelago, a place where mythical creatures exist. Christopher Forrester begins his magical adventure after saving a drowning baby griffin. He meets Mal, a courageous girl capable of fight. Along their quest to restore the fading magic of the glimourie, they encounter a variety of creatures and allies who either assist or challenge them.

The story ends with a resolution that balances closure with the promise of future adventures.

I absolutely think that this book is amazing. Every chapter keeps you engaged and wanting to know what will happen next. I couldn't wait to read the end and I am wondering if it will be a second book. I would recommend this book to everyone.

Author's Craft:

Throughout the story, Percy tries to overcome monsters. Along the way, one of his least favorite teachers turns into a demon. Another one of his favorite teacher rolls him a pen that turns into a sword which he can use for battles. Then, Percy finds a camp and meets friends and they go on an adventure. They fight and encounter many monsters along on the way. At one point, Percy says "This is the biggest battle I've ever had in my whole life!" In the end, Percy defeated the monsters and continued on with his journey to the underworld.

I think this book was good because there was a lot of action and excitement. I would recommend this book to others because you don't know what's going to happen next and it is keeps you interested.

The book It's Watching was written by Lindsay Currie. It is a Horror book. The story takes place in Josie's house, and Bachelors Grove, where Josie faces an issue where she goes to a graveyard, and ever since she came back from there, nothing has been the same.

Throughout the story, Josie tries to make a grave for someone whose grave got stolen. She thinks that it will make the ghost stop haunting her. Along the way, she meets up with her friends, Jackson, Allison, and meets someone new, Janessa who helps her. In the end, the story is resolved by Josie doing lots of research, and figuring out which ghost they are dealing with. They try to make a grave for that ghost, which they had done before just for a different ghost. Will it work, or will there countdown end? (After they went to the graveyard, they got a countdown. At midnight of that night where they made a second grave, is when it would end).

I think this book was truly exciting, scary, and it always left you on the edge of your seat. I would one-hundred percent recommend this book to others because of all the scariness, and the way that it just makes you want to keep reading. I really liked how this book was about a trio of friends, Josie, Allison, and Jackson. They all write articles for their school newspaper. The only reason that they go to the graveyard in the first place, is to try and capture a picture of a famous legend, "The Lady in White." They want to write an article about it. There also was a "picture" of the famous legend online. But, many doubt that it is real. When they come back, Josie's house becomes really weird, and their power goes out, but not one of the computers. Josie, Allison, and Jackson try to solve the mystery, and to finish before the countdown.

This story takes place mostly at school where Niki's gym teacher tells the class " we are going to be doing a ice skating competition." Niki really wants to win the prize money, but there is one problem she cant skate.

Later in the book Niki overheard Mackenzie saying that Brandon ( Niki's crush) is a French prince. Niki gwwets really excited.

So Niki want to help her crush with an animal shelter. When one day Niki finds out that Brandon is the grandson of the lady how owns that pet shop. The lady said that they might have to move soon because they don't have the money.

Then that's when the kids are getting ready to get on the ice Niki pretends to have a sprained ankle to get out skating so then she wont make her team lose the Brandon has to move

At the end of this story Niki's team win and Brandon wont have to move.

I think this book is a really good book if you need a laugh yo feel better or just for fun. Just make sure you read the first book's first.

This story takes place in London, where Melody faces a problem of feeling like she doesn't fit in. Then she got tickets to a concert and they said the stadium wasn't wheelchair accessible. Which made her feel even worse about not fitting in because she couldn't even get into a concert because of her wheelchair. Throughout the story, Melody tries to fix this by going to a place where there are many kids that have the same thought process as her. Which is good for her so she can feel what it's like to talk to people that might feel the same way as her. Along the way she meets so many people that help one person is a girl named Sky. She helped Melody because she always wanted the best for her and tried to help her get through all of the challenges she had faced. She understood Melody and she did so many fun activities while they were in London. The story is resolved by Melody finally finding her voice and giving the speech she wanted to give. Which is great because at first she didn't want to go up in front of her peers and talk on a talking device.

One author's craft Sharon M. Draper uses is anecdote one example from the book is, " I was sitting in my wheelchair looking across the street at Mrs Gertie's house when I saw her out checking her roses. she lost her balance and fell lying motionless on the walkway I tried to shout for help ,but my grandson squeals went unheard. then I remembered what I'd learned about calling 911." This shows Melody's thinking and even though she has CP she can still call the cops thanks to her talking device. Also this shows anecdote because it was an interesting story

I think this book was interesting because it is crazy how people that are like Melody get treated this way and I think it is horrible. I would recommend this book especially if you are interested in the disability that Melody has.
