Each year Japan receives more than 100,000 international students making it an exciting, multicultural place to learn. The differences in Japanese customs and behavior give graduates greater insight to assist their future success. They become more open-minded and learn to respect the beliefs or traditions of the people they interact with in the years to come. It also inspires trust in the clients they do
business with. The path to learning in Japan is not bound by the classroom walls. Japan has an excellent reputation with several Japanese universities ranked highly in the Times Higher Education Supplement Top 200 universities of the world, the Academic Ranking of World Universities and the QS University Rankings. From an education point of view, the enticements are far more straightforward: the best facilities using state-of-the-art, cutting edge equipment in modern classroom and laboratories, and teachers that have come from all over the world to share their experience and talents at outstanding institutions in one of the world’s most rapidly growing and exciting countries

Students in the final year of high school are usually confused to choose their major in college. It is a big decision in life because it will determine their future. I felt confused about choosing majors but after reading the explanations about several majors, I finally chose metallurgical engineering.

I really enjoy the field that I'm in right now, the field of metal. Never had I thought of pursuing this field before, until when I had to determine my major in college. And finally, I chose to enter the metallurgical engineering which brought me to this field. During the first year of college I only felt that I had to go to class. However, I feel more animating in this field when I move up to third year. A lot of issues about the metal industry and I like to update my knowledge about it. My bachelor thesis topic is about processing of ferronickel and stainless steel industry. My first job after graduation was related to metal manufacturing industry. I like this field more and more because I learned practical knowledge from theories that I got in college. My interest continued in the upstream metal industry and led me to explore metal knowledge for master’s degree. I am very concerned about the issue of the metal industries from upstream to downstream and I raise it to be the topic of my thesis at this time.

Indonesia is an archipelago. which is surrendered by the ocean. Each island separated by the ocean, there are humans in it. Humans are social creatures, where social creatures must be in groups. characteristics and knowledge of a particular group of people is named culture.

Culture is a paterns of interaction and action from group of people. For example
Culture summarizes patterns from language, speaking style, habits, food, clothing, work, even to marriage from the group of people. The farther the distance from these groups, the more different the culture in each group. This is the reason why culture is very important in Indonesia because people in Indonesia are separated by the ocean

If we can appreciate a culture, it will be a convenience to work because every human being has their own culture in Indonesia. For example if Javanese people have coworkers from Kalimantan island, they might be surprised by their accent that can be louder than Javanese people. Because the tone of the Javanese people is usually softer than the Kalimantan people. Therefore having to understand each other is important so that misunderstanding does not occur. If you cannot understand and appreciate a culture then a misunderstanding will definitely occur in your daily life

Indonesian people are very important to appreciate a culture. Because of these conditions. When working, schooling, socializing, everything is based on the culture of each region. Therefore, for all people in indonesia, Must pay attention to the culture of each person. Being valued and appreciating is an obligation in Indonesia.

Reading Habits

Reading is one of the best media to gets information about the world. Through reading, we can know and learn many things. With this enormous benefit, there is an expression about reading, "Reading is a window to the world". But lately, reading habits, especially among young people, are almost low. Reading books is no longer a cool thing among young people. Young people are more engrossed in playing with their social media.

This is unfortunate because the benefits of reading are great. Great figures in the world have a habit of reading every day. Some of them cite the key to their success is from reading. Call it Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft, he always reads at least 5 hours a day. Warren Buffet, one of the greatest CEOs, reads at least 5 newspapers every day. Elon Musk, Tesla's CEO, he can read 10 hours a day. These great people have a habit of reading that makes success like them now.

The benefits of reading have been scientifically researched. Research conducted by Dr. Anne E. Cunningham of the University of California Berkeley stated that reading books can improve one's intelligence. Research conducted by Ken Pugh, director at Yale's Haskins, states that it can improve our brain memory. The Mindlab International researchers at the University of Sussex said just reading 6 minutes can help someone to reduce stress levels by 68%. And many more Benefits from reading.

Therefore, reading habits must be improved for all of us. Reading is not something that wastes time. There are many things we can get from reading. We have to get used to ourselves and the people around us to read. If we don't read, we will miss information and be left behind by the world.

Indonesia is an archipelago. which is surrendered by the ocean. Each island separated by the ocean, there are humans in it. Humans are social creatures, where social creatures must be in groups
and create a culture.

Culture is a paterns of interaction and action from group of people. For example
Culture summarizes patterns from language, speaking style, habits, food, clothing, work, even to marriage from the group of people. The farther the distance from these groups, the more different the culture in each group. This is the reason why culture is very important in Indonesia

If we can appreciate a culture, it can help us in work, because every human being has their own culture in Indonesia. For example if Javanese people have coworkers from Kalimantan island, they might be surprised by their accent that can be louder than Javanese people. Because the tone of the Javanese people is usually softer than the Kalimantan people. Therefore having to understand each other is important so that misunderstanding does not occur.

Based on that, when working, schooling, socializing, everything is based on the culture of each region. Therefore, for all people in indonesia being valued and appreciating culture is an obligation in Indonesia.

Between The Heart and The Head

At this time, there are so many games that can be played, both on laptops or on mobile phones. There are several types of games that are just entertaining, but there are games that can give us a lot of lessons, as an example is Life is Strange. In this game players are required to choose a choice from several available choices and determine the plot of the story. There is this option that make us to hard to choose, it is like make a decision based on your heart or your head. This choice makes a debate in youtube’s comment section about which option is the best. However, I personally chose based on my logical thinking.

In the game Life is Strange, told a girl named Max who has the ability to rewind time. Players as Max, are required to choose several options that are quite impossible which later the choices the players choose form a storyline. The most difficult choice for some players is when told to choose between saving Max's best friend or saving the city from a large tornado. According to the survey, 55% of players choose to save Max's best friend.

I as a player chose to save the city because in my opinion saving many lives is better than just saving one life. Another reason is that in this game Max's best friend, Chloe, can die several times without the help of Max's power. At the end of the story, before the player is told to choose, it is explained that the tornado that will destroy the City of Arcadia is caused by Max who uses her power and changes Chloe's fate to die. So, I chose my head to decide, to save Arkadia rather than Chloe.

In conclusion, this game gives us lessons to be able to choose wisely, namely to choose because of your feelings or your logic. But sometimes, we have to be able to choose logically without bringing our feelings, so I chose to save Arkadia.
