This 1996 version was my favorite because it did the best job of capturing the scene as I envisioned it. It did a great job modernizing the story while still delivering the same message of love across. I think this allows me to understand the events slightly better. It makes it easier to think of this story in the modern world today.

This is the best version of the balcony scene because it was very well executed. It had all of the main parts that the original play had. Juliet talks about how a name should not matter. Romeo climbs to Juliet's balcony just like the play and they eventually kiss. The nurse also calls out for Juliet in the same way as the play.

I think that this version is the most accurate. They are not on a balcony in this although I feel like there is more tension. They were able to be closer in this although more in the open. This showed how close they wanted to be all of the time and their deep attraction to each other.

I think this version was the most interesting, entertaining, suspensful, and involved version of Romeo and Juliet. I think this because Romeo is openly in Juliets garden, watching her speak. He then surprises her after hearing her words when they suddenly fall into the pool. They kiss and her mother almost see the two in the pool. Romeo leaves quickly then comes back to see her one last time quickly. This did it best as well because it really shows how important it was to not get caught with one another.

You can tell they truly care for one another by the way they interact. I liked that this version was modern, but still had all of the aspects of the original Romeo and Juliet.

I like this version the best because it made me understand the scene super well. I liked how Romeo was hiding in the bush to start, and then all of a sudden came out to show his love for Juliet. This is also my favorite because I like the setting of it, I thought it was super pretty, and it is how I pictured where they would be. The characters in this one also made it my favorite, I thought they played the role of Romeo and Juliet extremely well.

I believe that the 2013 version of Romeo and Juliet does it best. I think this because, in the 2013 version, the tone in which Romeo delivers his lines sounds kinder and more romantic than in the 1996 version. As well as the lines Romeo delivered, the instrumental music in the background added more emotion to their words. On the other hand, Although the 1968 version is more true to the original play, I feel it is a bit long and repetitive while the 2013 balcony scene is short and simple.

I enjoyed the 1968 version the most out of all 3 because it felt more realistic and suitable for Shakespeare's play. The architecture seemed to have been set later in time as well as the characters' clothing. I also thought this version was better because Juliet and Romeo's love for each other was very significant throughout the film. The movie's actors show the powerful bond between Romeo and Juliet just as good as the playnotes do from Shakespeare's play.

I immediately eliminated the 1968 version from the running because this version's Juliet was too scandalous. With the decision between the 1996 version and the 2013 version, I believed the 1996 version to be the better one. Most importantly, they preserve the Shakespearean language from the original play. On top of that, they make use of the modern setting to add comical details to the play (such as Romeo needing to hide when the lights suddenly turn on), and Romeo gets almost caught twice.

The pool added an entertaining aspect to the scene, giving the characters more of a connection. They were closer to each other which made it more romantic when they conversed. I also like how it fully kept Shakespeare's words the same because that is how this work is supposed to be acted out.

I think that the 2013 version did it best. The scene starts off with Romeo's friends mocking him for being down in the dumps about Rosaline. Romeo looks for Juliet on the balcony. At first, Juliet is startled by him but later realizes it is Romeo. Romeo quickly then climbs up the balcony where they confess their love and plan their marriage. Therefore, I think this version seems more accurate like it is in the book.

The 2013 version was the best. One reason is because the producers added new lines to it while also keeping in some of the traditional lines that were in the original. Another reason was that they kept it realistic and also in the proper time period. For example, Juliet and Romeo didn't take it to kissing right off the bat. Juliet said a few goodnights without doing so until the last few statements. It seemed more accurate as to how this would happen usually.

The 1996 version is my favorite because it feels more intense and exciting. Instead of the other scenes, this one happens in a pool, which makes it feel more real. The actors have great chemistry and their emotions are natural, like they're really in love. The close-up shots and fast movements make the scene more dramatic and fun to watch. Even though they use Shakespeare's language, the modern setting makes it easier to connect and more interesting.

Before Romeo speaks to Juliet, he hides for a while, which helps build suspense. Their eye contact and body language make it feel like they have known each other and been in love forever. The way they spoke to each other sounded like they never wanted to leave, which supports Romeo's statement when he said he'd rather get caught and die than be taken away from Juliet.

First, the acting is good because Romeo and Juliet both seem to be genuine and truthful to there characters. Second, the writing is exactly how it was in the original Shakespeare play, with all of the exact lines. Lastly, the setting is how I would have expected the actual scene to be with a large castle and Romeo hiding in the trees.

It also gives the watcher a bit of comedy when Romeo falls in the pool. I think the choice of actors was also very good and made this scene a lot better.

I liked the 2013 version the best as it was the most accurate. The castle in this one is the closest to how I imagined it. I feel it fits the book better than the other two. The 1996 one modernizes it a lot and 2013 is just a better version of 1968.

This version was the best because it was closest to the book. The soliloquy was the same as in the story. Also the setting was a lot like how it was set up in the story. Overall it was the closest to the story.

The 1996 version was the best. The scenery was beautiful and they added new scenes, but still kept Shakespeare's original lines. When we read the balcony scene in class, it never talked about the pool, but by adding the pool scene, it keeps people interested while still telling the story. The actors did a great job expressing emotion, making it easier for me to watch. The actors playing Romeo and Juliet were deeply into their parts. They didn't hesitate once during a kiss scene. They showed a deep love and attraction towards each other. Overall, the background and actors themselves made this my favorite balcony scene.

Of the three scenes, I chose the 2013 version as my favorite. This scene has the most famous lines and the famous "balcony," and in my opinion, those are some of the best parts of the play. This scene felt like it had way more meaning because they did a lot more talking. The nurse is also looking for Juliet at the end, just like in the play.

I liked this version because it stayed very true to the original scene written in the book. I like how they portrayed his friends, drunk and wondering about Romeo while they were on their way home. Out of the 3, I feel it was also very realistic to their time period. Also, I liked how you could feel the love they shared. In the 2013 version, it took them some time to get to the point they tried to make. In this one, the viewer could tell they were obviously in love. This is why I believe the 1968 clip felt more realistic and true compared to the other two shown.

I liked the 1996 version the best. This version was better than the others. It was more relatable to the viewer. It seems to be in a much more modern time then when the story was actually wrote.

This was the best Balcony scene because it had the best acting. I also like how the setting looked very big and protected by big bushes. Another thing that made the scene feel different was when Romeo climbed up the house just to be able to see her. This happened in both of the other scenes but he climbed a long way and they looked like they liked each other.
