Where: Planet within the Orion system of the milky way galaxy. Name of the planet, Veerin.  Veerin has a diameter of 10000 miles (that's about 1.25% bigger than Earth). A year on Veerin consists of 360 days and each day is 24 hours. The planet’s axis is on a 10* tilt (which is a little bit more than ours) this causes more drastic seasons of heat and cold. It only has one moon and has a ring system surrounding it. Temperatures are usually around 30* to 100* F making it perfect for life. It has an Atmosphere that has more oxygen than Earth. Also, the surface gravity is greater than Earth’s. The main species is the Drakea species. But there are other species of lower sentient knowledge. The population is about 1 million.

The population is mostly centered in the 50 main cities around the planet. But the main capital of Verrin is the city of Ambiance. Other cities include Luminance, Reckoning, and many more.

  

Culture:

The Drakea species is the main species of the planet and are sentient creatures. (I'll describe them later cuz it will take a long, long, long, long, time) These people are a highly intelligent race and because of their intelligence have created a way to have more than one physical form. This race has become extremely technologically advanced due to lack of conflict amongst the peoples. The Drakea have almost all the shades of gray for a scale color. Their scales are as strong as metal but are yet flexible. The Dreakea have a strong belief in family and consider all to deserve one. These people speak Drakine which was made the universal language for the Drakea species. These people don't really have any slang or common sayings. Education is passed from parent to offspring and from friend to friend. Unique customs that these people have is that after the First Age, the king, Raylon, was gifted a suit of armor which was passed from parent to offspring. The Dreakea usually wear clothing of fabrics from one of the native species. Officers or those of high position wear hard light armor ( a type of armor held together with a solid form of light). These people consume the meats of other native species of the planet and eat some of the planet’s native plant life. For recreational purposes the Dreakea hunt, swim, and various other things. The majority of the population is made up of strong muscled highly resilient Dreakea. On lower gravity planets these people are immensely stronger. These people have very little fear during the First Age and the Age of the King. The basic nature of the people is peaceful until the end of the Age of the King where their space travels encounter them with the first other race in the galaxy on Earth.

Capitol:
 Ambiance used to be a small city of 100 occupants during the First Age but it quickly grew to ¼ million during the Age of the King. The city of Ambiance was once a collection of small huts, turned into a mass of constantly moving hard light buildings. These were giant metal structures that could easily house and adjust to the owner’s needs. The buildings were usually designed asymmetrically in geometric patterns. These housings were not needed to be planted firmly in the ground but had slight antigravity abilities so that easy adjustments could be made for more occupants. The city during the Age of the King was stunning in its unnatural elegance based off of the king’s personal suit of armor (known as Balance of Desired Future).  

HISTORY WIP
History:

From the beginning of their race, there was no collection of knowledge documented for future generations. No documented knowledge was until the Age of the King. after 2,000 years the drakine species had reached their age of space travel. The people had lived with peace for their entire existence but now they were entering unknown territory. They did not know what they would find out there so they requested that their leader (God) called The Light to choose a leader out of their masses to lead them if they ever came across an unknown force. The Light chose a young drake named Raylon. He was a strong and wise youth with a second pair of curved horns. The Light then bestowed the armor relic known as Balance of Desired Future. This armor was self-mending and would be passed down from heir to heir of the throne. Raylon then chose another young male named Judalis to begin a record of their history. Judalis and all his male descendants had a collective unconscious knowledge so all know what the one before knew. This line is the line of listeners called the line of Judal. Judals can be one or many investigating and giving knowledge as a catalog of the past. Raylon the king of the first age left the planet with Judalis and other drakine. They searched planet after planet, bringing back natural resources to their home planet so others could join them in the stars.
