Assembling an awareness of belonging in adult learning environments is vital for interaction, tenacity, and achievement. Belonging is more than being contemporary- it means being noticed, valued, and attached. In adult education, students frequently bring complex recognitions, life experiences, and sometimes self-doubt formed by past intellectual or professional communities. Our responsibility as teachers is to generate spaces that respect and support those experiences.
