Substitution can replace an assignment with digital versions of itself, meaning the assignment can be typed and printed instead of written with a pen and paper. Students are able to create reports and other assignments.

Modification is a form of redesigning lessons and enabling students to interact with each other.  Students can provide feedback to each other about their projects or reports.

Redefinition allows the student to use designing tools to reimage a lesson. They can take a virtual field trip to places that they've never been and write about it using images that are available to them.
