2 community events that we felt were successful were 1) who's game(board games event organised by the youth network and 2) hike and shopping ( hike at labrador park and shopping at vivo city organised by hwan rc). Some successful pointers from both events that we can learn from are 1) Importance of publicity to reach out to more residents through word of mouth (finding enablers that can garner more people to participate), posters and social media 2) importance for activities that allow members to engage with participants and residents and also to interact with one another 3) importance of planning by coming up with a timeline in order to reach out to more participants, hence able to plan accordingly 4) importance of coming up with fresh ideas that can engage more residents, finding areas of interests that can attract more participants to try out new experiences
