         <description><![CDATA[<p>1.How does the environment affect language learning?</p><p>The environment and the importance of a proficient and dedicated caregivers can affect language learn in kids due to repetition, adding new words to their vocabularies. Also being inmerse in the language with native spoken caregivers can improve their language skills.</p><p>2. Is it possible that Pete will catch up in the future? Yes it is possible with extra tutoring and improving his language skills. In the case the parents want to improve his skills they might consider to change the  caregiver with a more fluent  skills in the language.</p><p>3.What role do caregivers play in language development? they can be consider as the first teachers, the dedication, motivation and patience can help kids along their new language acquisition.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>Which theory do you think most impacts language teaching today?&nbsp;Why? I think there is a combination of some theories that have the most impact in language teaching nowadays, these theories are the behaviorits as rely on&nbsp; imitation, reinforcement, and practice, working good on kids in early stages of SLA. Then, the social interactions, the immersion of the students with native speakers reinforce their knowledge.&nbsp; To complete the learning process, the cognitive theory of Vygotsky and Brunner&nbsp; complete the process through the use of scaffolding techniques to reinforce their knowledge and let the students be able to develop the language by themselves and supported by a professor.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>How did earlier theories (like behaviorism) influence later ones (like interactionism)? The behaviorism depends on&nbsp; imitation. As the slang says "Monkey see, Monke do". This early theory influence the later ones&nbsp; proving that the students learn faster by imitation, then by integrating their knowledge with other native speakers to reinforce their language acquisition.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>As a future teacher/learner, which idea would you apply in the classroom?: All will depend of the students I may encounter as professor. Some students will have the innate ability with languages, some will need the cognitive technics and some would need the reinforcement by&nbsp; social immersion with locals. I would say without a doubt I would use a bit of all depending of my students needs</p></li></ul>]]></description>
