         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;Antibiotic therapy is usually the last resort to treat an illness. The healing process depends on accurate levels to effectively treat an infection. Currently, the only way to evaluate if a therapeutic antibiotic level has been attained is through point-of-care testing or noninvasive sampling which takes time to receive the results.&nbsp; The introduction to the biosensor that enables on-site therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) offers practitioners better patient care management, ensures&nbsp;optimal antibiotic concentration, minimizing side effects, and preventing drug resistance due to insufficient dosing. </div>]]></description>
