We were also delighted to receive fantastic feedback from the employers, who praised our students for their enthusiasm, engagement and excellent interactions throughout the event.

A brilliant opportunity to see how Cymraeg can open doors to future success!

Last week, we celebrated our annual school Eisteddfod, where our Year 7 and 8 pupils had the opportunity to showcase their many talents both on and off the stage. From impressive performances to creative competitions, the event highlighted the enthusiasm, confidence and creativity of our students, making it a fantastic celebration of Welsh language, culture and achievement.

A huge llongyfarchiadau to our winning forms, 8AB and 7IL, on their well-deserved success! We are incredibly proud of everyone who took part and helped make the day such a memorable occasion.

A huge thank you to Mr Sheehan for leading the project with such dedication, and to our fantastic Criw Cymraeg, whose enthusiasm, hard work and support have been invaluable throughout the journey.

We were also honoured to host this year's Flintshire Cymraeg Campus Awards Ceremony opened by Cor Elfed. Llongyfarchiadau to all the Flintshire schools that achieved a Cymraeg Campus award this year. It was wonderful to celebrate everyone's success together and recognise the excellent work taking place to promote Cymraeg across the county.

As well as entertaining everyone with some fantastic music and great sounds, Mr Phormiwla spoke to our students about the important role the Welsh language has played throughout his career. His inspiring message highlighted how Cymraeg can create opportunities and open doors in the world of work, encouraging our students to value and embrace their bilingual skills.

Throughout the trip, students took part in a wide range of exciting activities, including go-karting, high ropes, low ropes, ziplining and dry ski sloping. They also enjoyed a scenic walk along the beautiful coastline, taking in the stunning views and making lasting memories with their friends.

As well as the outdoor adventures, students had the opportunity to develop their Welsh language skills throughout their stay, using and hearing Cymraeg in a real-life setting while learning more about Welsh culture.

A fantastic trip filled with adventure, teamwork and plenty of opportunities to practise Cymraeg!

The Criw Cymraeg teams from each of our cluster schools delivered inspiring presentations, sharing the fantastic work they have been doing over the past few years to promote and develop the Welsh language within their schools. It was wonderful to see the enthusiasm, creativity and commitment shown by every group, highlighting the positive impact they are having on their school communities.

We are incredibly proud of everything our cluster schools have achieved and would like to thank all the pupils and staff for their hard work and dedication. Together, we are continuing to strengthen the use of Welsh and celebrate our language and culture across our schools. Da iawn pawb!
