Having hatred between two individuals will not lead to a positive result. In the text " The Interlopers" by Saki, two individuals have hatred between them and have the intention of murder in their minds and this creates a conflict of Man vs Nature. For example, in the text " The Interlopers by Saki it states "And before the moment of hesitation had given way to action a deed of Nature’s own violence overwhelmed them both. A fierce shriek of the storm had been answered by a splitting crash over their heads, and ere they could leap aside a mass of falling beach tree had thundered down on them." Ulrich and Georg have a problem with each other and want to kill each other. Neither of them want to shoot first because of the respect and the consequence with their society, this leads to the storm causing a beach tree to fall on both Ulrich and Georg. This evidence proves that having a feud between each other it will not result in a positive result because of their hatred towards each other they have been overwhelmed with a deed of Nature’s own violence which creates a conflict of Man vs Nature. Therefore, there is evidence that having hatred between two individuals creates a conflict of Man vs Nature as is evident in "The Interlopers" by Saki because of the beach tree falling on Ulrich and Georg.

A specific Universal Central Idea is Man vs Nature. A specific text central idea about the excerpt is where Ulrich is struggling to get out of a branch where his arm is numb and legs are pinned down. In the article, it quotes, "Ulrich von gradwitz found himself stretched on the ground, one arm numb beneath him and the other held almost as helplessy in a tight tangle, of forked branches, while both legs were pinned beneath the fallen mass." This proves that there is a universal specific central idea, in "The Interlopers".

The specific universal central idea is "not every problem is solved with violence." A text specific central idea is when the storm Was getting crazy and dropped a tree on both Ulrich and Georg causing them to get pin under the tree. One piece of evidence is "A fierce shriek of the storm had been answered by a splitting crash over their heads, and ere they could leap aside a mass of falling beech tree had thundered down on them." This is a good piece of evidence showing the specific universal central idea "not every problem is solved with violence" because they both were going to kill each other and and the storm hit them with a tree that pinned both of them now they both have to be with each other. Although they both hated each other now they have to be next to each other this could be a conflict of Man vs Man because they both have to reconcile with each other instead of keeping on hating one another.
