         <title>Contribitions of The Greeks </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>The largest and most important contribution was obviously the system of government, democracy.&nbsp; Athens of Greece had created first the democracy in history. It wasn't perfect or even like the modern day democracy. The Greeks had a lottery for government positions while we have elections for examples.</li><li>The second major contribution is their art styles. Most art is still by the Greek standards. They focused on more beauty than realism.</li><li>Philosophy had made huge improvements. These were made by Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle. These philosophers had discovered democracy, social classes, and leaps in many fields in Science such as logic and astronomy. &nbsp;</li><li>Drama was also founded in Theater. Along with those dramas, literature was also had large impacts. Homer created the first epic novels of early Greece, <em>Iliad</em> and <em>Odyssey&nbsp;. </em></li></ul>]]></description>

Their government was a monarchies throughout the city-states. These monarchs created a large, vast trading routes and had many military conquests. Some of these include Crete and the Sacking of Troy. Mycenae fell in 1100B.C.</div>]]></description>
