For module 3 we were asked to read chapter four of our textbooks. Within this chapter change and stress within an organization stood out to me. In order to be a great manager you have to know when a change is required. Once that change is implemented you have to know how to control the stress it will cause.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q38O7fg9ogI

The video above shows how a change in management can be confusing and stressful to team members. However, I learned how to control that stress by adopting strategies to help prevent the initial development of unwanted stressors. (pg 252 of our textbooks.)

http://smallbusiness.chron.com/change-important-organization-728.html

This article explains why change is so important within an organization. Embracing change brings nothing but success for a company.

https://www.raconteur.net/business/stress-work-always-bad

When I first hear the word stress I automatically put a negative condensation around the word. However, this articles allows me to view stress in a positive light. All stress is not bad. We as humans sometimes need positive stress to survive.

http://nutritionsumo.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/How-to-Manage-Stress.jpg

This clip allows management to help their employees to manage stress. The man in this photo is allowing stress to weigh him down. No one in the workplace should feel as though stress is weighing them down and they are unable to work through it.

Module 4 consist of chapters 5,6,&7 of our textbooks. What stood out to me was Strategic Planning. By planning strategically allows the manager to be more successfully instead of "cutting corners" and failing.

https://www.clearpointstrategy.com/communicating-strategy-be-effective/

This article explains how to communicate with your employees in reference to strategic planning. Email and text alone isn't always clear. Always allow verbal communication and ensure any questions and concerns are answered.

https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcR1ycZF2nvWOTa0D2kHU7pYRvMEQyAzbU77QN_2ERvVdRei__c

If there are any issues within the company instead of sitting around like the two men in this picture allow conversations to be had. Getting your team together and setting a blueprint will take the company so much further.

https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQIci_wcaQ2lzKiTt0v5kwIFkC2hfbava6qu70Az76FaEhaQWfT

Within this picture we can see a team discussing something. Strategic planning isn't just placed on the manager. Managers has to allow teamwork to be involved in planning. By allowing all voices to be heard this will bring success for the team and company.

https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRCbSqSBbZD2HQh1FEGRjDm0rRiwZfOpPpZ-HVPs6uQOAVjlS0kIg

Looking at this picture we see groups of individuals however, one person is by them self. When planning I've learned you are not alone. You can always reach out to your leaders and peers to bounce off ideas from once another.

Our final Module 8 reflected on chapters 17 and 18 of our textbook. While reviewing these chapter I really took a hold of quality. Within the pictures I have pasted below shows exactly how important quality is. The quality of a product, customer service, or a service can make or break a company.
