There was a student that did not want to part with their moms phone and when she took the phone from them the student fell out and started screaming to the top of their lungs so I got them and comforted them and tried calming him down it continued and it took them a while to calm down so the other teacher stood in to help calm him down they eventually calmed down

We use an "emotion mirror" and let the children pick the picture that shows how they are feeling at that time. Children loves it and also makes several of the emotions that is shown
