I believe ABA approval is important.

ABA accreditation ensures that the law school is meeting standards that seek to provide a better education. For students, ABA accredited institutions are reliable and contain above average faculty, resources, classes, etc. Also, some firms only hire students from ABA institutions. For the accredited institution, the applicant pool will be better as top students typically want to go to ABA accredited schools because they desire the educational achievements garnered by those schools. For the faculty, ABA accredited schools offer full-time positions and better pay. Overall, the accreditation process is long and there are lots of standards that must be met by applicants. The process pays off in the end by providing advantages for students and faculty members, as well as the institution itself.
