As said before, In Spain a food tradition is eating 12 grapes when the clock strikes 12 to bring good luck for the next 12 months. One grape for every chime of the clock!

In  Greece, they hurl pomegranate to the floor to release the insides and seeds, expressing life and abundance since pomegranate seeds symbolize fertility.

Any ring-shaped treat is also eaten and it symbolizes " coming full circle."
