Martha is from Boyaca. She was the 4 th of 9 siblings. Her family was very poor, that’s why she had to work very hard since she was very young. She moved to bogota to look for better opportunities when she was just 16 years old. There she started to work in a bakery. On the other hand, Nelson, he was born in Bogota, nevertheless he grew up in Boyaca in a town called Santa Sofia, he started to work in a very young age because his family used to plant and do field work. His Family had better opportunities (in terms of money) if we compare my both parents’ relatives. He moved to Bogota when he was a teenager, and he started to work with his aunt in a bakery. This is the place where they met each other for the first time. They fell in love with each other, and they conformed a family, they “decided” to have four children: Angie, Steven, Tania and on April 27 I was born in Bogota.

In our French class with Professor Mauricio, he used to assign us to different groups, something I didn’t like very much because not everyone worked with the same dedication I expected. That semester, I had to work on a project with a classmate named Fabiana. At first, I didn’t like her; her personality didn’t appeal to me. However, I decided to give her a chance and work with her. To my surprise, she turned out to be someone I got along with very well. Not only did we complete the project efficiently, but from that collaboration, a friendship was born that has lasted until today. Fabiana has been much more important in my life than I could have ever imagined. She is someone who supports me, helps me, and is always there for me unconditionally.
