As the quote has mentioned, I extensively familiarised myself with the script as well as had discussions with the people in the production in order to make clear what the angle and vibe of our show would be. The premise of our show “Alice in Mind” is around the book of Alice in Wonderland and the two main characters jumping into the world of the book.

When it came to the sets and how to capture reality and fiction I had a discussion with the directors and decided to play with the depth of the stage. Downstage is reality -the psych ward- and upstage is fiction -Wonderland-.

-Hatching and cross-hatching which are rough lines that create squares to give the illusion of shading
