I have already watched the anime and am a huge fan, so I got the manga to see if it could live up to the experience of watching SAO. The characters are slightly more cartoon like than in the anime, and I found the artwork to be a little strange at times, for example on some pages where there is a lot going on, the character may only have one eye visible. This was strange, but didn't take away from the manga. The story is very close to the anime with only slight variations. I enjoyed it and can't wait to read the next!

The manga and the anime are pretty similar except with a few variations. However, I don't agree about the part where the characters in the manga are more cartoon because they seen all the same to me. There is one thing that James Jr. and I agree on one thing.
