T in STEAM

The letter that I am learning to incorporate more often in my STEAM lessons is Technology. In my own experience, Technology includes the students using devices to explore, research, and create in STEAM lessons. Being new the the district and developing a new curriculum, creating and manipulating materials that incorporate more technology for 6 grade levels will take time and practice.

Why am I uncomfortable with Technology In STEAM?

I would not say I am uncomfortable but I need support in how and what to incorporate in my curriculum. The resources are unless and I need time to see what resources work best for me and my students when in STEAM. I also need a system to have the students bring their devices to STEAM class. Many classes have lunch or another special before my class so bring devices has become a challenge and taken more time than wanted. This will take routine and instruction to smooth out the bumps.
