One of his influences is the philosophy of stoicism, which influenced a lot of great stoic people whom I also admire (Zeno of Citium, Marcus Aurelius, Hierocles, etc). These stoic philosophers inspired me to also be stoic towards my everyday life especially in academic studies. Such an example of this is during my previous semester where we are tasked to write a research paper showcasing Philippine studies of Apple technology usage, and we showcased a lot of real-world information data about these topics. Another one is where we are tasked to write a persuasive essay, and we showcased data regarding about Lumad commmunities from an article which is our partnered advocacy. Through comment sections, to replies, to SMS messages, and digital connections, there's a lot of common recurring experiences especially when fake news is on the rise. One of the fake news I've recently come across is no classes because of recent natural events that are happening, like the heavy rain. Although we still had classes, the Grade 12 was suspended to have classes which made fake news on the rise that there will be no classes, but it didn't happen.
