There are 179 politicians in a Danish parliament, and 90 is majority and which can’t get 90 they get help from other parties like helping party. The king or the queen decides the next prime minister as said the (grundloven). But the parliament and the present prime minster also plays a role in deciding the next prime minster. The minority government is when a government doesn’t consist of 90 seats so and they get help from other parties and then the government is capable to be elected. a majority of parties can take power from minority government for example: forketing consists of 10 parties 7 are minority and 3 are majority. Majority parties can take away the power from minority party because of more members in the majority party.

The current government is the Frederiksen Cabinet, led by Mette Frederiksen from the Social Democrats. It only consists of her own party but has a majority due to the confidence and  parliamentary support from the Social Liberals, Socialist People's Party, Red–Green Alliance, the Faroese Social Democratic Party and Greenland's Inuit Ataqatigiit and siumut
