Career Project
Students were learning about bar/line graphs, percentages, and probability, there was no better way than teaching this information but by using money. They were understanding how averaging (finding the mean), finding the most money, and debts occurred. Students watched a video on discovery education. Then received a project on what type of career they wanted. They needed to know education training, salary, work schedule, description of career, and availability of the job. Using a Keely probe to engage the students I often ask them questions that "frustrate" them but spur them to want to know the answer.
