I have seen him do plumbing, electrical work, he tiled our bathroom (in 2020; something he had never done before), and installed flooring yesterday(again, all new to him). He isn't scared to take on new tasks, and works so hard. I am really so blessed.

This past Wednesday I got to spend the evening with 3 of them - 7, 5 and 15 months. I just LOVE watching them run around and play. Pure joy! It makes me feel young! He's been in pools and in the ocean pretty frequently (luckily!) since he was very little and we had been talking about swim lessons the last 2 summers but we finally pulled the trigger. He was so excited and had so much fun. Looking forward to seeing how he progresses throughout the summer!

Some folks have eluded to the difficulties of raising children in general, as well as challenges in the absence of their parenting partners and I can attest as well that struggle is real. I applaud any parents with multiples, since I have a hard enough time with a 4 year old, and definitely couldn't do it without our support system. We are lucky to have my parents and in-laws close by and they will do anything at the drop of a hat to help. This week has been especially difficult being a "gap week" in child care for us, with him finishing PreK3 last Thursday and not starting his "Summer Camp" until Monday. His grandparents have been able to keep him busy (for the most part haha) so that mom and I didn't have to take any valuable PTO. Here's to all the "villages" out there and anyone lucky enough to have the type of support system that we do!

FUN: I got a tattoo for Friday the 13th this morning! Its Taylor Swift themed but also has a lot of meaning for me because I have survived so much throughout my life and know I can continue to be resilient even if its hard some days. I got this little reminder for myself<3
