Determining a baseline and methods for tracking growth/success can be largely subjective which could lead to confirmation bias and other skewed outcomes. I believe a balance of qualitative and quantitative practices should be utilized for this. This can be done by soliciting anonymous feedback via surveys among the staff and collecting data during observations that is directly connected to the plans we collaborate with teachers to put together. For example, if the plan was to explore/implement a new engagement strategy, the information collected during the classroom visit, like tallies for different voices heard, could give insight.
