The founder of IAW is a lady by the name of Carrie Chapman Catt.

Who runs/works for this organization?

There are many different women who work and run this organization all over the world.

Joanna Manganara is the President of IAW located in Greece. She also is the Chief Representative to the United Nations.

Lyda Verstegen is the Honorary President located in The Netherlands. She was the former President of IAW 2010-2013.

Bashan Rafique is an Executive Vice President of IAW,  currently working in The United Kingdom and Pakistan.

Jessica Kehl-Lauff is also an Executive Vice President of IAW. Who is working in Switzerland.  Jessica has been presidents of former organizations, as have all of the other women.

What is their objective or mission? The International Alliance of Women focus's in on Women's Rights. The organization is made up of 41 women which work globally to advertise women's and girls rights. But that's not all. They also broadcast men and women's rights. They focus on the whole general topic of ending the vicious cycle of inequality and unfairness. The International Alliance of Women works all around the world, including some countries like North America, India and The Netherlands. Just to name a few.

The International Alliance of Women have partnered with many different organizations to get the word out. Some of them are: World Health Organization, Unesco Paris, and the Food and Nutrition Organization in Rome. The staff of all of these organizations have people on them that have been on IAW or are still on their staff.

The International Alliance of Women have one upcoming event held in New York. They are holding this event about bankruptcy and women.

The International Alliance of Women is joining a campaign for 16 Days working on Gender Base Violence.

Why are these strategies effective or ineffective?

I think these strategies are effective. Getting the word out about the inequalities of Men and Women around the world where you think wouldn't have that, to broadcast that on the streets in those cities.

To join different events like the campaign is also a great idea. They are useful and effective in getting people informed about what is going on. Like I said before, not just in Women's Rights. In both Men and Women's Rights globally. It is also good that they are working globally to advertise and to get information out.

How is this organization funded?

This organization is a NGO - meaning a Non Government Organization. They are not funded by the Government.

How can you get involved?

You can get involved with the International Alliance of Women organization by joining by membership. It isn't free but it is just a monthly fee.

You can also get involved by applying to be on the Board. To really be involved and to go up close and personal with this problem and to be a part of the resolution.

Also by funding. Since it is a NGO they base their work on the generosity of others. By funding you can help them with advertisement and their events and their overall work.

Who founded the organization?

 Founded in 1996, it was founded by six young women in Dar el Salam, Egypt. Names remain unsaid.

Who runs/ works for the organization?

The orginiztion works with many volunteers across the country, it's headquarters are located in Egypt, Cairo. The person who runs the orginization is not found or unable to be determined. 

Founded - By 3 young women: Jessica Nye, Larissa Funk and Manuela Villarreal in 2013.

Who runs the organization? - The 3 original founders all co-work running the organization together. The FW also works with volunteers in many different projects.

Our mission? - To win the war and give women everywhere the rights they deserve. We work hard to win and stop the abuse women have been put through. Protecting and giving them the voice and courage to stand and fight back.

What are our strategies? - Our strategy to accomplish this is by spreading the word and broadcasting the abuse to government bodies, public citizens, and media. By doing this we can send awareness in hope that people will take action and stop the abuse.

Are our strategies effective or ineffective? - Our strategies are fairly effective. Many of our projects have ended up successful, bringing us one step closer each day to ending the abuse against women.

How are we funded? - We are funded the generous government of the United States of America.
