Jesus  is at the well with a woman. He explains to her that anyone who drinks that water will thirst again, and the only way to be complete and to not thirst is to drink the water he gives you. The woman then asks Jesus to give her the water so that she won't have to continue going to the well.

Like the woman Jesus met at the well I will have faith in him. She had faith enough to ask for this special water. Jesus tells the woman to go get her husband, knowing that she is not married. She tells him that she is not married, and he tells her that she is right; he tells her that she has been married five times, but the man that she is with now is not her husband. She asks him about where worshiping should take place and then tells him about a messiah that is coming to answer all questions. He tells her that he is the messiah. 

Life application 
I am not sure how this relates to my life, however I will try my hardest to be like this woman. The disciples join Jesus. They are surprised to see that he is talking to the woman, but they don't question it or say anything about it. As the woman leaves Jesus gives her a jar of water. She goes into town and tells everyone about how she has just met a man who could tell her about everything she had ever done. She says he could be the messiah.

This applies to my life because I hope to have enough pride in my relationship with Christ to be able to talk to strangers about him like she was. I strive to be life Jesus in this passage. Jesus cares more about his fathers work than anything. I hope to one day be that hungry for righteousness. The Samaritains listened to the woman when she told her testimony, so they went to Jesus. They asked him to stay, and so he did for two days. After his two days they were convinced. They told the woman that they no longer believed because of her, but now because of what He had shown them. 

Life Application
I hope to one day be life the woman. She was not at all perfect, and she made mistakes, but she still lead people to Christ. I hope that one day I my testimony will help someone else, life hers did.

The man got home and found out that his sons fever had left him at exactly one pm which was the same time he had spoken with Jesus. From that point on the entire family believed. 

Life Application 
This applies to life because I hope to be like the father of the sick boy. He had so much faith in God. He did not even question when Jesus said that his son would be healed. Jesus is outside of a healing pool. He is talking to man who has been an invalid for 38 years. Jesus asks the man if he wants to be cured. The man tells Jesus that every time he tries to get into the pool someone beats him to it. Jesus tells him to grab his mat and walk. The man is cured at that moment. 

Life Application
This applied to me because I know what its like to feel like every time you try someone is better or they beat you to it. I hope to one day gain the faith to put my problems in Gods hands as he does. That is the only way for him to be healed, and for me to have a relationship with him.

The man is healed. The Jewish leaders are mad at him for working on the Sabbath, but he tells them that the man who healed him had told him to pick it up and walk. They ask who healed him and he does not know. Later he sees Jesus and Jesus tell him that he is now healed but if he does not stop sinning something worse will happen to him. 

Life Application 
This applies to everyone because just like Jesus told the invalid man, if you do not stop sinning bad things will happen to you. He told the man that if he did not stop sinning things would get worse. The Jewish leaders begin to persecute Jesus for working on the Sabbath they get even more mad when Jesus says that he is the son of God. Jesus also talks about how anyone who does not honor the son does not honor the father, meaning that the only to God is through Jesus.

This applies to us all in that we must realize the only way to honor the father is through the honor of his son. I think the feeding of the 5000 teaches us all that even though it might seem like there is not enough, God will always provide for us.
