Two Party System: party system where two major political parties dominate the government. One of the two parties typically holds a majority in the legislature and is usually referred to as the majority or governing party while the other is the minority or opposition party.
Federalists: a person who advocates or supports a system of government in which several states unite under a central authority.
Democratic- Republicans: was an American political party formed by Thomas Jefferson and James Madison around 1792 to oppose the centralizing policies of the new Federalist Party run by Alexander Hamilton, who was secretary of the treasury and chief architect of George Washington's administration.
Foreign Policy: is an American news publication, founded in 1970 and focused on global affairs, current events, and domestic and international policy.
