Whether your loved one betrays you or not, your love doesn’t disappear just like that. It takes a while to get over it. Mildred and Montag were together for ten years. It is going to take him a while to get over her and her betrayal. I don’t think she really loved him. Maybe at one point, but as far as I have known her, she seems out of it and distant towards Guy.

Without that foundation of memories and love, then what is the marriage? I think Montag loved her at one point. He probably till does deep down. I also think that their relationship is one sided. She acts like she doesn't really love her and in the end, she does betray him.

She and Guy had a connection. I don’t think she would’ve just left without saying good-bye. Mildred tells him that she died and then Beatty said that she is better off dead. I think this hurts Guy. So yes, I believe that Clarisse has died.

There are so many problems in this world that there is no wonder why they have become part of our literature. There are kids, younger kids than us that shouldn’t be exposed to these problems at such a young age.

They are raising their own little army to believe and trust in whatever they say. Yes, even in this society, the government only tells us what they want us to believe. People fall for it and it is like both our’s and Guy’s society is being brainwashed or “programmed” into believing whatever the highest power wants us o. It is highly unfair.

We use interaction to help our mind flourish and our vocabulary increase. If we don’t have contact with each other then it hinders us from fully exploring our horizons. I also believe that the character Clarisse is more social than someone that goes to school. She isn’t afraid to talk to anyone. Someone that goes to school is usually limited to the people they can talk to on a phone or at school. Clarisse will talk to anyone she sees on the street or wherever. She is much like myself and will talk to pretty much anyone she comes in contact with.

You don’t have to imagine what happens in a movie, because it is being displayed right in front of you in graphic detail. In a book, you have to picture everything in your mind. For some people, that’s difficult and that is why they prefer movies over books. You don’t get to use your imagination in movies. They take that away from you.

I think where he hadn’t read something for a while, it dulled his senses. When he finally did, he felt revived and ecstatic again. The saying is “majority rules” The world goes by what everyone else wants. Their lives won’t be as controlled. They are outcasts and they are free.
