Topic 1 : Media and social world

What is media ?
Media refers to various means of communication it provides information faster to wider audience all across the world it has different forms like radio, television, and newspaper
Why media is important ?
One big reason that the “media” is good for society is that it keeps us informed, if we are smart enough to realize which stories are true and which are false.

Unfortunately, what some politicians call “fake media” is merely that politician saying that he wished the media didn’t do as good a job of telling us what was going on as they are doing.

• media is important because otherwise people would be living in a near void, only receiving information from other individuals with whom they come in contact.
• brings other points of view and other information to light so that individuals can be better informed.
• Media works best when it is completely independent from influences, when it can serve the role for which it was intended.
Digitalization in media
Digital media it all starts from i will say the new technology trends so i would say some how digitalization is connected with the development of technology.
• The increase in mobile and Internet penetration has made being connected a way of life for younger generations of consumers.
technology now allows access to content anywhere, anytime.
• the growing availability of open-source and free software enables startups to build new businesses and innovative products in record time.
•New digital processes are changing how media is created. Traditionally, the media industry focused on creating content and optimizing distribution, but today many companies are automating this, digitizing catalogs and inventories, launching new rights management systems to create content.
