Something that I believe makes a good teacher is someone who is often adapting lessons and improving things. Furthermore, it is vital for a teacher to understand the importance of a growth mindset and that being able to improve certain aspects of your teaching can significantly enhance student learning.

I think that being a good teacher is very subjective. I think that some teachers can be a good fit for certain students, parents, etc but they might not be a good fit for others. Traditionally, good teachers could be defined as how well the students are performing in the class. But, I think that, good teachers include someone with a growth mindset who has their students' best interest at heart, who is constantly striving to make their classroom a community who can grow and learn together.

I believe a combination of other educators, parents, and students defines what makes a good teacher. They are typically flexible, while being kind to themselves and their students, encouraging students to build confidence within themselves and within the classroom.

A good teacher builds personal connections with their students and is more than just a body in the classroom. Good teachers know how to engage their students in lessons to ensure everyone is learning something. A good teacher builds a foundation of curiosity and a love for learning in their students.

Someone makes a good teacher if they are patient with the students and support them to ensure that they are learning the most that they can. Improving and adapting lesson plans to stay up to date also makes for a good teacher.

I think what makes a good educator is being comprehensive or striving to be as comprehensive as possible. Just as Dr. Negegreiros mentioned about the educator who thought they knew everything, a comprehensive one would see that there is always room for improvement. I think a comprehensive educator sees themselves as a life long learner instead of someone who knows it all. Their efficacy is rooted within their desire to gain more knowledge and thus gaining more wisdom. Both as an educator and as a human being.

I think a good teacher ensures that they cater to the needs of all students. A good teacher creates a warm, welcoming classroom where students feel safe and comfortable. A good teacher truly cares about students and has a passion for teaching. They want to make school fun and enjoyable for students, rather than dreadful. I think generally, students get to decide what makes a good teacher because they are the ones experiencing the receiving end of the teaching.

I feel like what makes a good teacher is the relationship that you have with your students and how you interact with them. It is important to make sure that your students feel comfortable enough to simply ask you a question about what they are learning. Building that trust with them will make the experience better for the educator and the child.

I believe a good teacher with patience and confidence is key in a classroom. A teacher's plan is not going to run smoothly every day. I think it is important to stay calm and have patience when problems may arise.
