In this Vogue cover, the tone sets quite a dark and serious mood by having the women wear only black clothing. They also used contrast colours. The facial expressions of the models also contribute to the tone as they all have a blank serious face.
The tone of this cover helps send the meaning of the cover across to the reader easily. The meaning behind this cover is to show how beautiful black African models are and to introduce more diversity into the fashion industry. The serious tone of this cover shows just how serious they are about this. This is message is shown in all the February.
That is my understanding behind this cover.

This Vogue cover gives an assertive and ardent tone. This creates a mood stimulating and thought - provoking mood as they used a mother and child. This is to show the 'New birth' of oneself. Naomi is standing up straight confidently holding a child. In this Cover they also used analogous colours which show harmony and gives a monochromatic effect.

The meaning is conveyed through the tone. It helps get the message across of this cover which is how you should be confident in yourself. How the new fashion will help with the re-emergance of our bodies. The new body being represented by the baby. The cover shows how we should embrace this confidence.
