Came with John Winthrop in 1630.
For 10 years, Pilgrims were basically trying to survive.
In Plymouth 1630 the Puritans arrive.

Town hall meetings is a place where local people can participate in government. 
Basically, usually when people are pissed off and go down there & it's an outlet to let anger out.
2. Value of Education: New England to this day, have higher SAT & ACT scores. Some of the first colleges in New england. Harvard was originally made as a religious education school. Why push education so much in England? What matters to them the most?
Religion: If you want your children to grow up in the religious life, they need to be able to read & write and more. 
Benefits of this? Overtime, The north ended slavery in their own terms. These states self-realized this and abandoned it.  
3. Pursuit of Perfection (Perfectionism):
What do they strive for? TO live the 'Godly' Christian life. Everything they do is an attempt to better themselves & their community.

Why are the founding fathers considered so intellectually bright? The constitution was build around us.If you know fundamentally the character of Americans can get better. Our entire pursuit of our country comes from the Puritains.
