💃🌍 Move & Smile Together – "Dance and Rejoice" 🌍💃 Within the eTwinning Move & Smile Together project, the large group "Angels" from PP Kindergarten No. 25 Arad celebrated the International Dance Day with an activity full of energy and emotion: the children's hora. 🇷🇴✨ Through this artistic moment, the children discovered the beauty of traditional Romanian dance, learning simple hora steps and enjoying the authentic rhythms. The activity was a real bridge between the past and the present, contributing to the development of national identity and awareness of cultural values. At the same time, by participating in the project together with European partners, the children understood that each culture has its beauty, developing respect for diversity and the spirit of European citizenship. Dance, music and smiles brought together movement, cooperation and the joy of being part of a wider community. 💞

We present the traditional Lithuanian folk dance “Krakoviakas.” Although the roots of this dance lie in Poland, the Lithuanian folk dance interpretation has its own unique structure and flow—we dance according to the traditions of Lithuanian national heritage.

The dance was performed by children from the “Švelnukai” group (ages 5–6) and the “Žirniukai” group (ages 2–3). The little ones tried very hard, danced boldly alongside their older friends, and brought us many beautiful emotions.

In our school we celebrated international dance day with two traditional dances from our island Crete. The first one is called 'siganos' and the steps are slow (siganos means slow in greek). That's why we wanted to show you and another dance, more lively which is called 'sousta'.

Students of Apalos Kindergarten, as members of the Alexandroupolis Traditional Countries Workshop, participated in a dance event. The dance they danced is called "Tapeinos" and is a typical dance of Thrace (a region of Northern Greece). The dance teacher of the traditional dance workshop is Mr. Vrachiologlou Dimitrios, who was also my dance teacher when I was a student at the University.
