Acceleration is the change in velocity over the change in time. It also is a vector and can be positive or negative. Negative Acceleration does not have to only mean slowing down, the object could be moving in the negative direction based on the point of reference. For this video I made up positive and down negative therefore the coaster has negative acceleration.

Centripetal Acceleration is when an object's acceleration is directed towards the center. For centripetal acceleration is be present the object must be moving in a circular motion and have a "centripetal force". As seen in the video the swings are accelerating around the pole which is its pivot point, since the acceleration is directed toward the center it has centripetal acceleration.

Kinetic energy is when an object has motion, Ke. An object has the most kinetic energy possible when it is near the end of motion. For this ride there will always be a small amount of gravitational potential energy since it is completely off the ground. As seen in the video the roller coaster has the most amount of kinetic energy once it reaches the bottom of the turn.
