This Infographic goes over the family Tenebrionidae, a group of beetles that includes several species from the African country of Namibia. Namibia is home to the Namib Desert, one of the dryest deserts in the world. But several of these beetles have evolved special patterns on their wings that enable them to pull water out of the air. I will explore how scientists tested and created their own way of harvesting water based off of these incredible insects.
