During October, I hung out with my cousin Mero, and we went from LA to Tijuana. While we were in LA my cousin booked a studio session for fun and we invited some friends over, during our time there each of them got into the booth and tried to freestyle multiple songs..which didn't end up good for some of them. I ordered some Chinese food for me and my cousin while the others left to get some tacos, once they came back we all sat down and started playing games I lost a couple of rounds but it was worth it. Afterwards, we left the studio and went to a party, I'm not much of a party person anyhow so I just sat around for a while while my cousin was doing his thing. During the party, some people got into an altercation and we had to leave before things got too heated. We went out to P.F Changs and OH MY it was so expensive..100.97 for just me and my cousin we got the Dragon Roll, two appetizers, and a main course of Honey Walnut Shrimp, Orange Chicken, and white rice with some sauce, I also got a strawberry mint drink..that explains the price.

My cousin usually comes to pick me up a lot and we go to eat out or I'm just there as a wing-man for him when he's picking up a girl, this time it was both and it was VERY awkward, when we arrived at her house I had to sit in the backseat and WITNESS a bunch of lovey-dovey stuff. We arrived at Owens Bistro and man this place is so expensive, WHO PAYS 100 DOLLARS FOR ONE PLATE?? I ordered the Short Rib Papardelle, my cousin ordered Shrimp Fra Diavolo and Bruschetta di Salum the girl on the other hand went ALL OUT our wallets were devastated by the end of the day she had ordered, Warm Italian Loaf, Soup of the Day, Filet Mignon, and Vanilla Creme Brulee with cranberry, this was probably the most expensive place I've ever gone too..NEVER AGAIN!!! Afterwards, we headed towards See's Candies which was a good stop since I was craving something sweet. I got some Chocolate Covered Almonds while my cousin and the girl got some brittle I think it was peanut and cashew. Once we paid and left we headed down towards the movie theater I forgot the movie we watched since I was mostly going in and out of the theater getting snacks. After the movie we went toward BaFang Dumpling, I didn't order much besides a Soy Tiger Boba and some Pot Stickers. After our day was over we headed to Mero's house I stayed in the living room while they..were in the back. :D

I've been listening to some songs since I was a little girl and they've followed me throughout my life, every time I hear this song it reminds me of my dad and the bond we had growing up. He was very stern but also taught me much about respect and honoring someone specific. My dad was big on the honor system, "respect your elders" he always said this along with other things like "Make sure you earn respect" "Don't step out of line." and "Make sure nobody steps into your line". Growing up my dad taught me a few things here and there about being safe in certain places especially where he lived it was always filled with elders just sitting outside, drinking, partying, and arguing. Almost every night the party would get heated and go the wrong way and I would see my dad go outside to prevent anything from happening. I was never allowed outside when they were partying, I always needed permission, and even so, he had to be near me at all times. Growing up, I was very close with him, but we drifted apart after he went away for a while. I'm still very grateful for all the memories he created with me I'll never forget him.

My number one moment of 2024 was when I was traveling around the mountains for a bit and got lost. I had to get out of the car and ask some random people to help my mom drive her car up the hill since she worried her car would fall backward. Instead of driving her car though, they ended up calming her down since she was having a panic attack, afterwards my mom used my phone to call her friend. My mom's friend arrived after getting dropped off by her mom who insisted on her driving us up the hill. Once her friend hopped in the car we started driving up the hill and my mom was DEATHLY scared, I've never seen her with so much fear in her eyes before, it was kind of funny because the hill wasn't as big as you would think. after we made it we passed by Lake Gregory, it was a nice view but not that many people were in the water since it had a sign saying the water was contaminated with bacteria..ew. Our drive down wasn't even that bad either their were just some very sharp turns and twists to the road but we were able to maneuver enough to get down safely and nicely.

This song reminds me of my mom since she introduced me to them when I was younger. Me and my mom have had a rocky relationship ever since I was little it's always been that way not that I know why but I'm pretty much used to it. I've always cared for myself even when she tried I never liked it when she offered a helping hand it just made me feel weak. I am not sure why it's just the way I am and I'm okay with it, it's never been a bother to me I stay in my lane even when it comes to family. I don't have much on my mom that's all I'm putting.
