Tv Shows Nowadays

So, this is my opinion about tv shows that are not actually good for us especially for kids and teenagers.

Days by days, our tv shows are getting worse. Years ago, there was no such privacy, bullies, fights and disgrace stuff on the tv shows. But now, those stuff are the most important content to attract people to watch the tv shows. I feel like kids nowadays are more "mature" than the kids back then, and it's probably because of the tv shows they've watched. So, I happened to be almost-bullied by these girls when I was in elementary school (which was absolutely not a kid thing to do). I was so curious what makes them act like mean adults. I told this to my mom and she said "oh I bet your friends watched these tv shows a lot. They tried to follow the mean adult's style, didn't they?" and I asked my mom again. "Yes, but why did they want to be like mean adults?" my mom replied "Well, not all children get proper care from their parents. When your friends found something new on the tv show, even if it was not good at all, they would still try to be like the things they found interesting in that tv show. Actually, those tv shows won't affect children if the parents are with them while watching the tv. So that's why it's so important for parents to always watch the children." So I got two conclusions. First, parents should watch and educate their children so their child won't be interested with such mean stuff. The second is, parents should be selective in choosing what tv shows are worth watching by their children.

So, this is my thoughts about tv shows nowadays. Sorry for the bad grammar (I'm still learning hehe) and you can also tell me your opinion or advice about this topic or anything. Thanks for reading 😂

Gossip at Work

Good afternoon.
I would like to share about gossip at work. Why I choose this topic? Because this topic is very interesting to me and I experienced about this issue before, it happened 2 years ago when I took unpaid leave for 3 months. Actually, I have given my resignation letter to my boss, but he refused it and he gave me a choice to back to work after 3 months holiday. I bet you ask me why I took 3 months leave, don’t I? It is because i got my 3 months visa. After I discussed with my mom, I accepted my boss’ choice.

Unfortunately, there was a gossip about me. It is so annoying if you find out your co-workers have been spreading gossips about you. And the gossip was about I got pregnant so I disappeared from the office for 3 months or it is like I took 3 months pregnancy leave. (It is so funny anyway, because in my opinion, I will still working on my pregnancy and I am still single, so there is no reason to disappear from the office if I got pregnant, I believe some of my best friend at work have said that I took 3 months holiday because my resignation letter was refused by my boss). I guess the root cause of gossip is jealousy. The more successful you are, the more attractive, the more kind, the more self-assured, the more people will gossip. They do it to try and bring you down. They do it to try and build themselves up. My family knew about that gossip and asked me to make a declaration letter stated that I was not pregnant and reported to Human Resources Dept., but i didn’t do it because I thought it was excessive although the gossip was very disturbing to me.

From my point of view, gossip is useless and only harmful to others, especially to people who do not care about other’s business and what you can get from gossip then? As office workers should be talking about ideas, not about people and if you can’t say anything nice, then don’t say anything at all. And there are some quotes that will make you re-think gossip:

“Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people” –Eleanor Roosevelt-.

“Be less curious about people and more curious about ideas” –Marie Curie-.

Conclusions:

If you think the gossip is seriously affecting your reputation, or your ability to work properly, I suggest you to report to Human Resources, I am quite sure that they will give the gossipers a warning or maybe punishment.

If you have faith your company will deal with the complaint professionally, it is likely they will be able to move the teams around so you won’t have to deal with the same colleagues again.

And the most important is: if they are brave enough to talk behind my back, then have the courage to say it to my face, talk to me, not about me, that is all I ask.

Finally, that is my thoughts about Gossip at Work. Please stop spreading gossip at work, let’s start to discuss your great idea than gossiping people! Wouldn’t you say so?

Thank you for reading and please feel free to share your thought with me about this topic.

Have a nice day !

Pets for a better life

Hi! I would like to share about the benefits of having pets in our life. From my own experience, pets could make me happier. They could be my mood booster only by waving their tail and run onto my lap. Who does not happy when you just got home and your pets welcoming you really warm?

Another benefits of having pets in your life is you'll become more responsible, because you have to give them foods, treats, pet them, take them to the vet when they are sick, and do stuff like that. Yes, it's might be really annoying or wasting your time and just give you more job to do.

But see? They will give you their trust, love, and they will be your partner for the rest of its life.

The last one from me, I think pets could make us healthier because pets need an activity which could make them move their body. Automaticly we have to
accompany them to do that activity. For example, dogs owner have to take their dog to jogging, or walking, right?

From my point of view, pets could give us a lot of benefits. But, we have to be the responsible owner for our pets. If we are not ready to adopt a pet yet, than you better hold on. Prepare everything before you adopt a pet.

Well, it is my opinion about the benefits of having pets. I'm sorry for my teribble grammar, you can share your opinion or advice in my comment column. Thanks for reading!
