We would stay out there for hours and enjoy the peacefulness of the running water over the large bridge, the sound of the birds chirping, and the fish swimming gracefully through the rocks. The garden allowed us to drain away our troubles and connect us more as a family. But for this piece I wanted to focus on the innocence aspect and escapism I had as a kid that played a huge part into the person I am now, I had a great imagination, I enjoyed all things that included princesses, pink, and fairies. I am extremely emotionally attached to my house and I believe it has its own Personality, it is something that made me happy as a child and still does now. 
For this sculpture, the things I used from my house were: childhood toys, a Halloween mask from the early 2000s, beads I used to use to make friendship bracelets, and cardboard from a recent gift.
