• 14:30 return departure

In the morning we had a meeting at the school, we picked up those who lived in Saluzzo or nearby, so they had to get up later. From the school we took a bus to Saluzzo where we picked up the others in a parking lot. The bus took us up to the middle of the mountain, but we had to walk there. The hike was tiring, we took a few group photos at the top of the mountain. The way down went much smoother. Around 2:30 we started back to the school, those who got on in Saluzzo were dropped off and the others went back to the school by bus. In the rest of the afternoon everyone did what they wanted, most of them went to a bakery, but some of them looked around the city.

• 5:50: We were on the plane.

• 8:20: Two luggages were lost.

• 8:54: Two luggages were still missing

• We took a train for an hour to Milan's city center.

• We dropped off our luggage (with difficulty, but we managed).

• Took the M3 metro to the Duomo.

• Climbed to the top of the Duomo (about 240 steps).

• After the Duomo, we had free time.

• 14:35: We gathered, tired and cold, to prepare for departure.

• Took the metro back to the train station, ready to head to Torino .

• as we arrived in Torino, we transferred to a train heading to Fossano (rushed to catch it).

• In Fossano, the Italians greeted us right away. We took a group photo, and everyone went to their host families.

This was our last day of the trip, so in the morning we gathered at the trainstatoin in Fossano. There, we said our goodbyes to the families and the new friends we made during this journey. We had such a great time in Fossano, and it was hard to say goodbye. We really enjoyed the Movie Museum and made so much photos. After that we were a little tired but we managed to rest during the long train journey. At the airport, everyone gotten a free Revolut card for themselves. The plane left in time so we were happy, lucky and really tired at that time. In Budapest we were really happy to see our families again and quickly went home to sleep.

We started the day with icebreaker games to get to know each other. The first task was to find our name cards and have a conversation. After that we played team-building games, such as lining up according to our birthdays or shoe sizes.

While waiting some of us joined in and played Just Dance. We toured the school, explored the classrooms and later had lunch together.

8:15 A presentation by Italo Rizzi about “The challenges of food security and agroecology: Local aspects, global repercussions” After that a Mentimeter about “The right to food and sustainable food systems”

After the presentation we had a “cooking contest” (EatFactor - after X factor) where the teachers were the judges, and the students had to make all kinds of sustainable dishes.

After a short brake we learned two kinds of Italian dances

Then we headed to the school’s gym and played volleyball or football for about two hours. After this community building activity, we headed to a nearby park where we spent half an hour. After everyone had gathered, some of us started walking to one of the most popular cafes in Fossano and a few of the students went home to prepare for the gathering. The cafe, which was recommended by the Italian students, was stunning. We had spent there more than half an hour before we took off to our next stop, which was the party. After we had arrived, everyone was surprised by the amount of people, since there was almost more than a hundred individuals. We’d had a very limited time before the dinner was served, but it wasn’t a huge problem, since everyone was starving. After dinner we presented the Italian folk dance that we had learned earlier that day, and it was a stunning success, what is more some of the parents joined us too. After everyone had gotten tired enough, we headed home.

I believe, this has to be one of the most significant days, since we experienced a whole new part of the Italian culture.
