Explain what happened after the act(s) of resistance. What was the final impact, or result?

Sophie was a key member of the resistance group the White Rose, and her brother and friend wrote leaflets quoting extensively from the Bible and several iconic poets of German bourgeoisie, believing that the people would be easier to be convinced by what the authors of such poems were convinced by, and in those leaflets, they, “denounced the Nazi regime’s crimes and oppression, and called for resistance." They wrote 6 leaflets in total , but in February, 1943, Sophie and her brother, Hans, were passing leaflets in their university when they were spotted by a caretaker of the building and reported to the Nazis, where they were tried and K!lled. Sophie Scholl’s words, bravery, and courage is still honored in Germany today, where schools and roads bear the names of her and her brother, and many others will simply quietly commemorate a hero that is not for her tragic death, could’ve gone on to be one of the greatest women in history. On what should’ve been Sophie’s 100th birthday, Germany issued a commemorative coin, that will put her as an important part of history forever. Sophie and her fellow accomplices will forever be remembered and honored as one of the first people to step up against the Nazi regime

Sophie Magdalena Scholl was born in 1921 to Robert and Magdalena Scholl, she was the 4th of 6 children, notably sister to Hans Scholl, she was described as hardworking and courageous, and at a young age, Sophie was already being influenced by the Nazis, at age 12, she joined the league of German girls, while her brother Hans joined another Nazi youth group, slowly rising up the ranks, but as time passed, the Scholl sibling started realizing all that what them and the rest of their hopeful nation thought was the solution to their failures in WWII, was actually not what it seemed, and their parents, who were not supportive of Hitler, only fanned the flames of resistance in the Scholls, and when Hitler had invaded Poland, that skepticism about the Nazi regime had turn to hate. But that was to be put on hold, as in between all this Hans was studying medicine at the University of Munich, when he befriended a group of people, Christopher Probst, Willi Graf, Alexander Schmorell, and Jurgen Wittenstein. As every day passed, this group's hatred for the Nazi regime grew, and they decided to act on it, but in secret, so around the start of 1942, they started releasing pamphlets detailing the cruelty of the government and why people should stand up against it, Sophie, around the same time, arrived back in Munich from service duties, and discovered her brother's resistance, and she wanted in, around June of 1942 she started working with the group to write more pamphlets, and in total the group wrote 6 pamphlets, but the next year was when things went wrong, most of the time the White Rose was working with the University of Munich being one of their main places to spread leaflets, so on February 18, 1943, Sophie and Hans were spreading leaflets when spotted by the school janitor and reported to the Gestapo, after being tried and found guilty, both, along with their accomplices, were sentenced to death. While the ending of Sophie and White Rose was tragic, it inspired people to finally stand up, in Sophie's own word "What does my death matter if through us, thousands of people are awakened and stirred to action."
