Music-based learning activities serve as particular environments for building social relationships along with verbal communication abilities as well as group coordination when students play instruments or sing (Cannon et al., 2024). Through music engagement children become more creative because they discover ways to write music, develop spontaneous musical ideas and gain sensitivity to sound emotions.

The continuous technological evolution provides children with multiple digital tools for producing and reshaping their thoughts while allowing them to distribute these creations among different audiences. Children through media platforms discover ways to recognize and reply to the world by merging text and images with sound and movement (Peters, 2024).

A simple and engaging visual arts activity for early childhood is creating a nature collage. This activity begins with a short nature walk where children are encouraged to collect a variety of natural materials such as leaves, flowers, twigs, seeds, and grass. As they explore, educators can prompt discussion about the different textures, shapes, and colours they observe, helping to build vocabulary and observational skills. Once back in the classroom, children use the collected items to create a collage by gluing them onto a piece of cardboard or paper. They can arrange the materials freely, expressing their ideas and creativity, and may choose to add drawings or colour around their collage using crayons or markers. This hands-on activity supports fine motor development, sensory exploration, and creative expression, making it a meaningful way for young children to connect with their environment through art.

The activity teaches children to master proper timing as well as coordination skills and teamwork dynamics (Chapman, 2023). The combination of singing "If You're Happy and You Know It" together with hand signs develops both children's singing abilities and their motor skills since it trains them to synchronize their motor functions with musical sounds (Cannon et al., 2024).
