Noi abbiamo pensato di ridurre le emissioni derivanti dalle centrali che producono energia elettrica, riducendo il consumo di energia.

Infatti gran parte di essa viene sprecata illuminando inutilmente o male.

Mettendo nelle città lampioni intelligenti, ridurremmo gli sprechi, le emissioni e salvaguarderemmo il clima.

Alcune persone potrebbero pensare che i lampioni vadano spenti perchè non si vedono più le stelle, si sprecherebbe meno energia e quindi le fabbriche che producono energia ne produrrebbero di meno e si riuscirebbe a dormire meglio. Invece alcune persone potrebbero pensare che i lampioni dovrebbero restare sempre accesi perchè magari qualcuno passa alla notte non vedrebbe assolutamente niente, poi puo essere carino vedere un pò di luce alla notte e perchè secondo loro non si spreca tanto. Si potrebbero mettere dei lampioni intelligenti che si accendono quando passa un pedone o un mezzo di trasporto e si spengono quando se ne vanno grazie a dei sensori intelligenti. Quindi si vedrebbe un po' di luce alla notte ma poca per dormire bene e per vedere bene le stelle. For example, street lamps are always on even if no one is passing by. Some people may think that the street lamps should be turned off because you could see the stars and it would waste less energy. Therefore factories that produce energy would produce less and you would sleep better. On the other hand, some people might think that street lamps should always be on because maybe people who are outside at night would see absolutely nothing, so it would be nice to have some light and they might not think that it would not be a waste of energy. You could put smart street lamps that turn on when a pedestrian or a means of transport passes by and turn them off when they leave thanks to intelligent sensors. This way you would see the stars too. The most important thing is that less energy would be wasted.
