My family has a history of sheep herders, so my dad carried on the tradition. I've always loved animals, and hope to have a small farm of my own one day with my husband. It's definitely not an easy task, but taking care of the animals brings me a peace I can't get anywhere else. I enjoy anything out doors and I'm not afraid to get dirty. I'm one of those people that would rather get lost in the mountains than in the city any day. I also love the small town life and how everyone knows and cares about everyone. I have awesome parents who taught me to work for what I want, and to not take anything for granted. I am the oldest. I feel like that has shaped my life as well. Being the oldest sibling I found it made me grow up faster. I always want to be there to take care of my younger siblings. I have two awesome brothers who keep me on my toes, and an amazing little sister who always brings a smile to my face. My sister has Down Syndrome, and she is my pride and joy! She's my partner in crime, even though she'll always point the finger at me if we get caught... I served a full time mission in the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission. The LDS church has always been a huge part of my culture. I was raised in the church, and it has made me very happy. Sunday's are my favorite days because I get to go to church with my husband and enjoy the peace and love! It has helped me through many trials in my teenage years and also my young adulthood. I'm still in that stage, and it continues to help me every day. I have loved being married, even though we may not always see eye to eye. I am able to witness how marriage is changing my life. It's definitely changing for the better. It's making me more responsible than I was before, and it's helping me to become the woman I want to be. I love getting to help people of all ages with different tasks. Whether it be helping an older woman get ready for the day because she wants to look extra special for some family coming to visit, or simply helping someone sit up on the side of the bed. I have always enjoyed people and making them happy. This is why I want to further my education and hopefully become an Occupational Therapist one day.
