On a beautiful spring day, I woke up to find the sun shining. The birds singing, and my neighbor, out in his backyard, yelling at the squirrels. He was usually a fairly angry guy, but today he was especially mad, because
the squirrels had eaten a hole through his greenhouse and ate
his vegetables. I tried not to laugh, the whole scene reminded me too much of Peter Rabbit, breaking into the Old Farmers Garden in that old story by Beatrice Potter.
"Did you catch him yet?" I asked. "No," said my neighbor shaking his head and twirling his shovel menacingly. "That little
thief chewed up my turnips, and even worse, he let the birds in and they ate my blueberries."
"Well," I said, "At least he’s sharing."
Then my neighbor shot me an evil look, I turned and ducked back inside to watch the
show Stranger Things.

He

was usually a fairly angry guy but today he was especially mad, because

the squirrels had eaten a hole through his greenhouse and was eating

his vegetables. I tried not to laugh. The whole scene reminded me too

much of peter rabbit breaking into the Old Farmers garden in that old

story by beatrix potter. Did you catch him yet? I asked. No said my

neighbor shaking his head and twirling his shovel menacingly. that little

thief chewed up my turnips and even worse he let the birds in and they

ate my blueberries.
