The only child in a family of 3 Jin Wang is introduce. His mom and dad met a year and a half after they came to America at a liberary as grad students. Jin had a dream to be a transformer becasue watching the show with him and his friends inspire him. One day he went to his mom chinese herbalist and the old lady told Jin that he can be anything he wanted to be as long as he is willing to give up his soul. Jin and his family lived near San Francisco China town. When Jin Wang gets to mayflower elementary he gets picked on and sterotyped by his classmates. He than runs into the new student wei-chen sun who is also asian and they become best friends.

3.) Melenie is significate in the story because she might ended up being Dannys lover. Danny and Chin-Kee is significate because as the story goes on Chin-Kee might be the reason why Danny life style might change.
4.) What is important in this section is the fact that you might not like or enjoy everybody in your family but at the end of the day they are still family and you cant get rid of them.

The monkey King changes his name and goes to see the gods about his execution than runs into Tze-Yo-Tzuh he proves to the monkey king that he created him and cant escape his reach. The monkey king gets trapped by rocks for 500 years by Tze-Yo-Tzuh.
2.) The great sage equal of heaven(monkey king), dragon king, lao-tzu, yama, jade emperor and Tze-Yo-Tzuh.
3.)The gods were significant in the story because they were the main reasons why the monkey king wanted to change his ways and be someone else.
4.) What was important in this section is that some changes are not always the best for you.

Jin begans to have feelings for amliea after she took off her jacket. Jin friend Wei- Chen-Sun makes fun of him for liking a girl, but than turns around the next day and date suzey. One day Wei-Chen-Sun and Amelia gets stuck in the closet and after Jin saves them he finally manage to ask Amelia out.

Danny is annoyed on how his cousin Chin-Kee is always the only one raising his hand to answer questions or cutting tewacher off by finishing their sentences. when the two had lunch together everybody was staring at them because he was eating cat gizzard. Danny later runs into melenie and ask her to a movei but she rejects his request and said it better if they just stay friends, Danny is mad about it because he think she probably dont like him back because she is afraid he will turn into his cousin.

3.) Steve is significate in the story becuase he is kind of like a mentor to danny and helps him out with his problem.

So as the monk(wong lan-Tsao) goes off in his journey he runs into one of his given disciples the monkey king. The monkey king is first unwilling to help him becase Wong continued to urge him to turn into his orginal state, and the monkey king did not want to do that. After the monk got attack by demons the monkey king decided to help him out and serve him for enterity, but the monk demanded him not to wear shoes during their exploration.
2.) The characters Wong lan-Tsoa, Chi Dao, Jing Sze and Jiang Tao was introduced.
3.) These character are significate to the story because they all kind of create a path way for the monkey king to escape his bondage.

* While Jin and amelia are at the movies jin uses soap to cover up his smell from riding the bike in order to hug amelia, after they go get some ice cream.
* When JIn gets back to school he tells his friend Wei-Chan Sun about the date and runs into a "friend" of amelia and he ask him to not talk to amelia because he thinks that Jin is not right for her.
* Jin runs into Suszy and while she is expressing her day to her he kisses her and than gets puched in the face 
* Wei-Chan Sun comes over Jin house and confronts him about kissing his girlfriend.
* while jin is in the bed he starts to believe the lies that he has been told and wake up a to a totally different person/ "the average american" and name himself danny.

*Chin-Kee gets upset and starts to do knfu on Danny until danny was able to strike Chin-Kee in the face and reveal the monkey King.
* The monkey king talks to danny(which soon after turned into Jin) about how him and his son were sent down to earth to complete a mission but his son (Wei-Chan Sun) got tired of serving humans and decide to go about his own way
* Before the monkey king left he gave Jin information about where to find his son, so Jin went to the shop every day for a month until he ran into Wei-Chan Sun and applogized for how he treated him.
