I am learning to identify important elements of persuasive writing. 

I will know I’ve reached the learning target when I can describe what persuasive writing is and what it takes to write a proficient writing piece. 

This is important to learn because we need to know what persuasive writing is so we can write a persuasive letter, personal commentary, or a movie/product review.

This is important to learn because we will not always have the same opinions as others. Learning the process of argumentative writing will help to have conscious conversations and discussions.
